Nate Allen, S, South Florida. The Cowboys did a good job plucking Mike Jenkins from USF a couple years ago, and they hope to strike it rich again. Allen is a playmaker in the secondary, but isn’t afraid to get physical either. Shoring up the FS spot for the Cowboys has to be one of their primary concerns at this point.
footballdraftanalysis.com - 3/5/2010Brian Price, DT/NT, UCLA. Price is a powerful interiuor D-Lineman that simply explodes of off the ball. He could be used as a NT to spell Ratliff, or could be a 3-technique in 4-3 fronts.
Don Banks @ SI.com - 3/4/2010Charles Brown, OT, USC. I'm trying not to over-think this one. The Cowboys need some youth at offensive tackle, and Brown seems deserving of a bottom-of-the-first-round grade coming out of Indianapolis. If Taylor Mays should last until No. 27, Dallas jumps all over him. But I don't see that happening post-combine.
Peter Schrager @ Foxsports - 3/4/2010Charles Brown, OT, USC. A former tight end who made the move to left tackle in college, the 6-5, 290 pound Brown is one of the more athletic offensive linemen in the 2010 Draft. Though OT Doug Free played well for the Cowboys down the stretch, depth across the O-line is a major concern. My sixth-rated offensive tackle, the man who protected Mark Sanchez's blind side should sneak into the first round.
nepatriotsdraft.com - 3/4/2010Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee. Prototypical 3-4 Nose that can really clog things up in the middle. Doesn't have the upside of a Terrence Cody, but also doesn't have all the flaws.

Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame. Tate brings many elements to an offense. Has the receiving skills that could push Roy Williams for his starting job, could also be a factor out of the backfield and the return game.
Dallascowboystimes.com - 3/3/2010Charles Brown, OT, USC. We profiled Charles Brown in our "Potential Draft Picks" Series, detailing why he is not the typical Cowboys’ lineman. Brown is just 300 pounds and could be a great choice for a West Coast offense, as he excels in pass protection. After the playoff loss in Minnesota, though, Dallas likely wants to upgrade their pass protection. If Brown is still on the board at pick #27, his selection could mean Dallas is changing their offensive philosophy a bit.
Shutdowncorner - 3/3/2010CB Patrick Robinson, Florida State. Dallas has real needs on the offensive line, but the draft offers a better shot to take care of its pass defense. Robinson took a hit by being suspended during Florida State's academic scandal, but he's also rounded into a truly versatile defender.
Chad Reuter @ CBSSports - 3/2/2010Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers. The Cowboys find a tackle of the future in Davis, who could play either side of the line.
Pat Kirwan @ NFL.com - 3/2/2010Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland. Campbell is a major project, and a team with an older starting left tackle who won't need to put Campbell in immediately should take a chance on this athlete. If Campbell has to play early, though, this experiment would be a disaster. The Cowboys like their linemen big, and someday he could replace Flozell Adams.
drafttek.com - 3/2/2010Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State. With the top OL candidates off the board (thanks Houston), Dallas addresses the defensive backfield where Terence Newman is not getting any younger. Wilson impressed at the Senior Bowl with his coverage and aggressiveness. Jared Odrick might be a consideration; however, Dallas has more young back-up talent at DE than CB.
draftguys.com 3/1/2010Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech. You can never have too many pass rushers, and the Cowboys are thrilled to have Morgan on their team. With arguably the best physical skill set of any pass rusher in this draft class Morgan is very aggressive when attacking the quarterback.
