not couldn't but wouldn'tTell that to his landlord that he couldn't pay.
Are you the thinker on Dobie Gillis?not couldn't but wouldn't
IF it really was that important to him, he would have been there
think a little before you post sometime
Yup, that one play told me all I need to know about his will to win. I don’t care if he stays or goes anymore.I haven’t liked him since he was too scared to hit Kittle in the playoff game.
This isn't a Micah threadHorrible contract, over rated player.
FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs is in danger of missing out on $500,000 from his 2025 base salary for not participating in the team's offseason program.
Diggs has opted to rehab his surgically repaired left knee in Miami and away from The Star. He was not in attendance for the first two phases of the offseason program, and he has not taken part in the organized team activities over the past three weeks.
According to his contract, Diggs needs to take part in 84.375% of the offseason program in order to avoid the $500,000 de-escalator.
While the offseason program is voluntary, for years the Cowboys have had base-salary de-escalator clauses written into their large contracts that have been given out, including for quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa, that all but guarantees a player's participation.
Diggs is believed to be the first player who could see a lowering of his base salary if the Cowboys choose to enforce the clause.
Even though Diggs is rehabilitating from surgery, the contract states a player, "must rehabilitate such injury as required by and under the supervision of the Club's Head Trainer until such time as full participation in the 'Off-Season Program' can be achieved. Supervised rehabilitation by Player with Club's Head Trainer will count towards Player's 84.375% completion requirement."
He will lose. Period. End of discussion.According to coach BS, Diggs has been in constant contact with the coaching staff and is doing his own rehab in Florida after the Cowboys trainers' program was messing him up. He has a good case to sue if the Cowboys decide to fine him.
I agree with you 1000%. In fact, I think we will consider trading him before the October deadline if he's healthy.Broaddus thinks he'd already be gone if he was healthy.

Voluntary mean, dawg?It wouldn't be a surprise if Diggs doesn't even know this.

If the man can cover we have to keep him......but can he still be as effective after the injury is the question.Wanting to get rid of Diggs when you have the receivers we have in this division is INSANE
He did good vs Washington and nabers because of the trash qbs. The last time aj brown struggled vs dallas was when he saw Gilmore. Diggs never provided any resistance to AJ. I still don't think ny was a qb but I guarantee Terry will cook diggs now.Wanting to get rid of Diggs when you have the receivers we have in this division is INSANE
What exactly does that mean that the team trainers program was "messing him up". Messing him up how?According to coach BS, Diggs has been in constant contact with the coaching staff and is doing his own rehab in Florida after the Cowboys trainers' program was messing him up. Yeah, still waiting for a source on that one. What exactly does that mean that the team trainers program was "messing him up". Messing him up how?
