Diggs injury nugget

Hopefully he plays well enough late that he at least has some trade value.
He won’t get on the field soon enough to be traded, and even if he does it won’t be for anything of significance considering the acquiring team would have to pick up the existing salary.

He will be cut in March. There’s virtually no way around it no matter what takes place.

..you pay me $50+million. I'll show you what a comeback player looks like.. ;)>.

What is he saying........he may be ready physically, but lacks confidence.

Well, the ACL tear was two years ago, so I think he's saying that he lacked full confidence last year. I thought Diggs played pretty decently coming off his, unlike Williams, Gallup, Steele, etc.

I'm not sure if he'll lack confidence coming off the new injury. I think he's just pointing out what we should already know, that players struggle the first year back from an ACL. They have trouble trusting it. Gallup still didn't his second year back and retired briefly. Williams' average stayed down his second year back.

So you are here and now evaluating his return potential. Sorry, I don't believe in your doubts instead of team reliability on player recoveries.

Diggs will be out for the season. They already pushed Gallup to return too early, and we saw how that turned out....

Hill is awful. I don't see how some of these guys even keep their jobs.

Sunshine-pumpers..how very professional.
He’s not missing a full season.

This isn't anything new. We've seen this for years with many different players. It is understandable. After going through the injury and rehab process, I am sure a lot of guys are afraid of reinjury. Who wants to go through that twice? Well, Diggs and Overshown have no choice but to go through it a second time and I imagine the fear of a 3rd injury is even more difficult to shake.

All these guys know is football. If they lose that in their 20s, I imagine it is hard to figure on what their future will be like.

His knee is beyond jacked.

Chondral tissue graft surgery, also known as cartilage repair surgery, involves transplanting healthy cartilage tissue to repair damaged areas in joints, particularly the knee. This procedure aims to alleviate pain and restore function, often using techniques like osteochondral autografting or microfracture.

The psychology aspect of sports is very real. Some guys can't wait to get back out there and work extremely hard and I think that's what seperates the generational talent from the good ones.
