I'm about as ambivalent on Parsons as you can realistically get, but even I think that this was a good move on Parsons' part. I definitely don't think you ask a player you're in the middle of salary negotiations with to "take on a new duty" and go spy on a teammate. I'm going to just assume you are being a little snarky here...
