DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys Wednesday practice report came out this afternoon and there was a surprising name on the list.

Cornerback Trevon Diggs was listed as a non-participant with a shoulder injury.

The league is brutal this year. COVID probably is a factor I’d surmise. It seems plausible that the injury plague through out the league could be tied to a lack proper conditioning due to such a shortened training season.

Yes, it's got to be an accepted factor, anytime a player's condition is hampered by a limited extent of time being allowed to get acclimated to playing. It aptly explains the rash of injuries so prevalent this year, beyond any reasonable doubt. Hopefully, adjustments will be made to make the players' injuries more of a controlled occurrence in the near future. Maybe a return to more normal conditions will help considerably next year. This year is still in doubt.
