1) I don’t want to see Diggs return a kick again…EVER. I don’t care if a couple returners are out. Who thought this was OK? How would our defense look without him?

2) Anger needs some love. He moved the ball 338 yards for us last night!

3) The only FG attempts 50 yards+ we should attempt are “final moments” kicks.

1) We need someone with actual ability to return punts. It would be ideal to have a receiver on the roster with some real speed and return ability. I don’t like trotting Lamb out there for the same reason you don’t want Diggs doing it. Wilson is a total non-threat.

2) Anger was killing it.

3) I have more faith in Zuerlein kicking a 50+ yarder than I do a 30-45 yarder.

Did Diggs get hurt?

Ok then. The era of ***** footing around is over, we put our best players in the game where they can turn field position. You can get hurt anytime you take the field, thats the nature of the sport.

Risking Lamb when you have a top 3 offense makes no sense either.

Top 3 offense?

Wonder if people had a problem when Deion did it.

Which is the very reason why you limit those opportunities when you can. I don’t think Lamb or Diggs are particularly great at returning punts. We simply don’t have that guy on the roster. Actually, Deonte Harris (#11) is the perfect type of player I’d love to have fill-out the receiver depth on our team.

I never liked it. Remember when Prime was injured and we had Kevin Smith and Kevin Mathis as CB1, CB2. The turf toe didn’t come from returning punts (I don’t think) but losing a special corner…just not worth the risk.
