From what I've read, I think Revel will be placed on PUP at the start of camp but is expected to be taken off PUP during camp. Of course, since he's a rookie that could slow his start to the season. But unlike Diggs, I don't think he's actually expected to miss any games.

Still, even with Revel, we don't have a lot of proven corners with Diggs out and Lewis gone. We got Elam for cheap to give him a chance but he was a bust in Buffalo.

Agreed. Revel should be cleared sometime in July but the Cowboys (rightfully) will take it slow with his return. As for Diggs, I know they are going to spin some "possible for week one" narrative but I think he probably misses at least the first few games.

It's possible the top three corners for the opener at Philly are Bland, Elam, and Revel. And they can always use Mukuamu in the slot.

Yeah, we should know how bad we need Diggs back before he returns. I know there are some fans who want to get rid of the player, but we saw how weak we were at corner when Bland was out at the start of the season and then when we had to replace Diggs later in the season. I do think Eberflus's scheme should help there some, but we'll see how much.

Right now, our hope is a) Revel gets healthy and is ready to contribute at the start of the season, b) Elam is much better at what Eberflus will ask of him than he was in Buffalo, c) Mukuamu can handle slot if either a or b isn't true or d) some other young player (Carson, Butler, Pride, Barcoo, Hall, Booth, Smith Jr., Childress, Harmon or Clark) steps up. My favorite among the young players to step up would be Butler based on what we saw in limited action last season, but he's also coming off injury.

I was goofing around a little by tossing out my Varus, but since you were dialed-in on the Valgus, I saw an opportunity and I seized it.

I would expect him on PUP to do bands work to ramp up for practice. Doubt he will need to stay on it very long. Seems to be on schedule.
