Due to Micah dominating the league, we haven’t heard much of Trevon Diggs. I think he had a hell of a game yesterday and loved the fact that he shadowed their #1.

He’s getting to the level of a shut down corner, to that level where he can take your #1 receiver out of the game.

Also, props to Jourdan Lewis. He’s been an absolute stud this year and one of the best slot corners in the league.

With our front 4, Diggs shadowing the #1 receiver and Micah attacking unpredictably, QBs in the playoffs will struggle, I don’t care who it is.

Micah & Odigi are rookies; Gallimore and Diggs are in their second years. None of which have entered their prime yet. This defense is going to be scary good for a long time!

Diggs is playing at a high on pure talent.....he's gonna be great when he learns proper technique......I look forward to seeing that.
I think when it’s all said and done, we’ll look back at Diggs and Parsons as not only being generational, but some of the all-time greats.

You just simply don’t see guys in their first and second year performing at a level that those two are. It just doesn’t happen!

I hope to see Gallimore continue his play like yesterday. he was fantastic, and not just because of the sack....I am looking to see if Osa play improves now that he has support on either side of him.

This is getting to be the type of defense I been wanting for the past 20 years.
Ravens / old school Steelers type defense, kind of like the Denver defense with Ware there when they won the SB.

Add a few more pieces next draft, and watch out.

And you know this is what I try to tell people. Just enjoy the ride. Being pessimistic and negatrive all because of Jerry's past dealing...just enjoy the ride. Because you may be witnessing greatness at the start of their careers.

How much weight has he put on? It’s good weight don’t get me wrong, but the dude looked like a warehouse. Loved it!
Yeah I think he had on a extra layer of clothes.....maybe it made him look bigger but he looked bigger in the preseason too....this might be the 1 tech we've all been wanting.

People are way to quick to act like Diggs will never get better at coverage.

He’s a year 2 corner. He’s just going to get better. Not worse.

He had a really good game, indeed. Didn't know how he could get burned on that first Washington TD. His coverage was perfect imo.

Other than that, he dropped one or two easy interceptions but overall I liked what he showed yesterday. His play matures with every game it seems. Doesn't play it that risky anymore while still taking chances every now and then. Looks okay to me at the moment.

With Diggs, I think the coaches must be getting on him about his technique and how he always plays the ball before the tackle.
Yesterday was the first game where he played pretty sound technique and really shutdown whomever he was on.
It's a great sign that his early success has not gone to his head - and he will take being coached up.
It's a very good step for him. Makes me like him a little more that he can still grow as a player.

I agree this defense is gonna be special. Also,
to think they have to do all this with an actual blue print out there on how to beat them. Pretty darn impressive.

It was fun to watch the defense healthy and playing together yesterday. We definitely have the ingredients!!

and that is the key, playing together. Guys knowing their assignments and holding true to that assignments. Before it was guys chasing the ball leaving backside run lanes and blowing coverages. No doubt we have some stars on this defense but for any defense to function effectively you have to play as an entire unit, where guys are taking care of their responsibility on any given play.
