Diggs value

Too many coincidences to make believe...

Couldn't care less if I'm wrong...the story has major holes and I'm left having to use my own intuition...which is there are too many coincidences for this to be real

I assume, to prove your point, you would prefer to focus on Diggs or Dak injuries that may or may not be true...but don't want to talk about how half the starters dipped out on one game, which was obvious on tv.

You would prefer to not talk about zeke, a secure ball carrier, mysteriously fumbling 4 times in one game when the season considered over at like game 6 of a season.

I assume you don't want to talk about that stuff, but focus on one or two MAYBE true injuries from those time frames.

Diggs was fake limping half a game trying to come out when all other starters bailed. He felt he had clout to come off as well.

Then Dak mysteriously goes down with injury.

You can argue "what franchise would sacrafice player value with a faje injury" all you want...but I'm not buying it one bit.

Jerry likes splash players like diggs...he never cared about his value decreasing based on a fake injury. Same with Dak.

You aren't able to talk off the coincidences. Just like it happens in the NBA.

You want to tell me how to think and hope it works.

You can't talk off the examples I provided
The NFL can, and will, impose fines, suspensions, and even forfeiture of draft picks for faking injury. On Jerry Jones’ dumbest day as a GM he would not consider the nonsense you’re indicating.

You want to believe Prescott and Diggs are perfectly healthy and not coming back from injuries that required surgery. They are.

I just don't believe in that many coincidences that conveniently help a team tank.

They all just happen when it's convenient? Odd ain't it

Why would anyone trade for him before the season starts. 1. He can't pass a physical. 2. You would have to pay him to miss games.

If a trade will be done this year, it will be before the deadline at best.
Whenever he's tested ready to assume the rigors of football the team's doctors will decide.

I wouldn't want to chance getting him re-injured before he's ready to assume football duties. How he manages to assume the duties when he judged ready to compete is likely when the decisions whether to keep him or not. If he's fit within a reasonable timeframe he might be retained. If not, he won't.

Jerry isn't likely to waste a fortune on him if his playing days for the Cowboys aren't likely in 2025.

Our best best is to make sure he is 100% ready. Then when he plays, he plays well, so we can trade him next season. I would be happy with a 4th.

Even though he is just 26 and already owns an impressive track record, the writer believes Diggs is only worth a 2026 sixth-round draft pick in a trade return.

Sounds about right.

But I sure wish you hadn't posted this. I can only imagine the posts that will follow, which I'm about to read. The whole "We'd only give a 3rd rounder for Patrick Mahomes, but teams better give us five 1st rounders for this broken down cb who used to be good" will be in full effect. Should be good for some laughs though.

Right now "he's is worth nothing in a trade", isn't a 6th round pick basically a "nothing" pick?? Sheesh
No....a 6th round pick is not a jotting pick.

It's were good or great GMs build a Super Bowl roster.

That said....for US, I guess it IS a nothing pick

Funny, the one thing this board seems to be reasonable about, imo, is when they talk player trades and draft picks.

I guess sense it rarely happens.

If this was an NBA board, I'm sure it would be like what you're suggesting.

I do find this board pushing some stupid, low return trades for Parsons though. Other than that...this board seems reasonable about trade

Welp...I just finished the whole thing, and the worst I saw was "trade him for a 4th". I must say....I'm shocked! I think we're finally getting thru to these people.

It's far to early to predict something like that.
If he comes back healthy and plays well, he could be traded next season.

If he comes back healthy before week 9 and a contending team is desperate for a starting CB for a playoff run, he could be traded this season.

If he restructures his deal next season, doubtful, we could keep him.

Other than that, he is most likely cut. I would take Bland over Diggs.
