Man he is giving up some huge plays. Really hasn’t been close to making any plays. On another note Bland has been a really good supervise.

They were saying him and Parsons were battling the flu. I’m gonna chalk it up to that. He’s been very solid this year.

Zero pass rush doesn’t help

Bingo. We are now back to the old defense. Zero pass rush and these QBs able to extend plays and have a lot of time to scan the field. DBs can't cover that long, no matter how good they are. The only time the DL really came close to Minshew was because the DBs actually did their part at first and made him sit back there. They never forced the issue themselves and got to him early.

This secondary looked good early in the year and parts of last year because this DL was getting to the QB with pressure and sacks. When that doesn't happen, we are going to look bad with how bad our secondary is. It all starts up front.

Brown is a Pro Bowl receiver. Their TE is really good and Smith runs great routes and catches everything. They probably have more weapons then we do. Just like we lit up their secondary, they lit up ours. Folks who trash their team aren't being objective. I think it will take a high scoring team to beat them in the playoffs, like us or Minnesota, or a great great defense like San Francisco.

The Cowboys need Diggs to get back to disciplined coverage. Rather he give up a 20 yard pass and make the tackle than a walk in, uncontested touchdown. The pass rush is not even close to what it was a month ago and teams are exploiting Parsons inside rush move by having the QB slide outside of the pocket to buy more time. Minshew killed the Cowboys with that move yesterday.

Funny, Diggs gambles when he give up a big play.. Joseph gets burned like toast when he does the same thing. Can't we just call a spade a spade? Diggs had an awful game and when he gambled or bit on play action, he gave up several big plays including the TD to Smith who was uncovered in the end zone, and the long pass to Brown early in the game that probably gave Minshew a huge confidence boost. I'd have to watch the game but the Eagles were throwing at Diggs and I do not recall him defending one pass. I expect Joseph to make stupid mistakes like biting on the double move, but Diggs is the star of the secondary and he needs to be better.

Diggs was not so great against the Jags too. That 19 yards pass to Zay Jones to put the Jags in position to tie the game with 8 seconds remaining was on Diggs. The Cowboys were shredded by Gardner Minshew and it was because Eagles receivers were open most of the night. No punts by the Eagles. The defense was awful.

I think teams have been staying away from Diggs because of his reputation for making interceptions. I think the Jags and Eagles were more willing to try him. I think more teams will do the same. He needs to play better.
