I think the Vikings can matchup physically with us but can they play at as high of a level as we can.

Jared Allen vs Flo scares me too.

With that D Line the Vikings have ill be more than happy to get Barber back for his blocking ability.

I actually like Dilfer and not just because he's been giving the Cowboys props all season. I think his analysis is actually pretty insightful.

I hope you are talking about Hodge, if not you know nothing about what Dilfer has been saying about cowboys even before december starting. He was the first and only guy, national or local, who predicted cowboys will get off the snide of December and also win in NO.

I think we are the hottest team in football...but I don't think we have great matchups against the Vikes.

We have two great power interior players to counter Williams brothers. We have an LT who cannot be bullrushed very easily, if at all to counter jarred Allen. We can take advantage of LBs in coverage with Felix (which we need to do more of) and Witten out there. We can flat out abuse their secondary which is a major weakness. I don't think their defense is going to fare well against our offense.

With their offense, we have the 3 really good CBs to counter their 3 WR looks. We also have a front 7 that plays the run really well with safeties and DBs that aren't afraid of contact when going against Peterson.

One other advantage we have is that we didn't have the bye so we are still at full speed. Plus, we knew if we won that we'd be playing against the Vikings. Since we were playing the Eagles back-to-back we probably didn't have to change much of the gameplan - little tweak here and there. But this should have allowed our coaches to peak ahead at the Vikings and start to think about how to attack them. It is kind of like having the best of both worlds. The Vikings really didn't know for sure who they would be playing - could have been any of 3 different teams so they didn't get the same headstart. I bet they looked alot at the Bears/Vikings game a couple weeks ago where Cutler put up darn near 40 points against them.

I really don't see the Vikings beating us. I say we win this game 90% chance at home and 75% on the road.

To me the big mystery is who we will be playing in the NFCC game when we get there but one week at a time.

Hodge is an AFC, Steeler's homer. Always has been. The Iggles"O", which we defeated, worries me more than the Vi-Queens. Sure Brett has had an unbelievable year. But when it comes to Ware, Spencer, Spears, Bowen, Brooking, James, Olshansky, etc. etc. .... Loooooook out!

The Chargers have the longest winning streak going, but I'm not so sure the Cowboys aren't playing better than them right now. Our defense is playing better than any in the league. The irony is that our loss to them helped catapult us to our current win streak. I want another crack at them too, but I won't care who the opponent is if the Cowboys end up in Miami.

The biggest opponent against the Cowboys, are themselves. Three things can do them in. Penalties, injuries and slip-ups. If they can keep them down to a minimal, I'll put them up against anyone. Head to head, I think this is the finest team since the 90's. I give this team even more credit because they had to do it with less talent. The 90's team was far deeper in talent. I'd put the second D unit of the 90's team against most, yet this team is doing it with starters.

For what it's worth, Hoge said he didn't think the Vikes matched up well with us at all. Paraphrasing, he said we basically have the advantage in every matchup he looks at.

Don't know how keen that analysis is, but he did say it.
