So Cleveland is not interested in keeping him, and they just spent a third rounder on him. I would love for Jerry and Spawn to trade for him. Maybe a 5th round pick? I think Cleveland has been totally stupid how they've handled the QB room over the years.

What do you think? A 5th? Or not at all?

Dallas does not have a 5th round pick to use for a trade. It would have to be a 6th.
But my answer would be not a 2027 pick, only have picks, 1, 2, 3, 6, 6.

Maybe a player as things shake out in TC.

Who?

You can never have enough midget, mediocre QBs I always say. There is some Sheduer Sanders to the Cowboys speculation out there. I dont believe it but it is the time of year where you have to "create" content out of thin air.

Just trade the two 6's for Shedeur and be done with it.

Big red flag to dump him 1 year in.

I mean, the starter is Watson, who will somehow be on IR by week 4, and then it's Sanders, who maybe could be a QB in this league but I wouldn't bet on it.

All the hoopla over Sanders was hilarious. I mean, he'd make one good throw and it would be all over every sports show. All the way to 7 TDs and 10 INTs. 3-4 in his 7 starts, and that w/ the 4th ranked D in the NFL. You'd have to really really reach to find the amazing in that clusterfudge!!!!

No I wouldn’t trade any draft picks for a failed Cleveland QB .
He's not failed has he?lol. Sheesh Ron. Your spicy with that take. Poor kid barely got there. I think I'd be hesitant to give up a pick as well before I see more from him. He's on his rookie deal, so I don't think he's going anywhere. To me, he's going to be the better pro than Sheddeur. Dillon has the chops. Look at his college tape. He needs real reps in a game. Baptism by fire if you will. Clevelands problem is they never stick with a young QB long enough. They want that instant shot in the arm. Lightning in a bottle. That's why they lose. They need to dump Watson for whatever they can get. Commit to a guy at QB. For better or worse. Indecisiveness is the father of failure. Fence riding in life and in sports, gets ya beat. Have real open competition in camp, let the best man BE THE MAN. Commit to him. Surround that guy with the proper players and staff. I think they do have a lot of great components, but are adrift at sea until they commit to a guy at QB. Your not totally wrong Ron, but can we at least see more before we decide on him?

Kevin Stefanski gave him the job in Cleveland they didn’t move the ball they didn’t win and eventually Sanders got the job . I would say the experiment was a failure .

Stefanski used several guys. How much stock are you putting on that? Lol. Sanders isn't an NFL caliber QB. Maybe a career back up. Like josh Johnson. Again, to be fair to Sanders, let's have open competition. Pick a guy, commit to him. No more musical chairs at QB. If it's not in Cleveland, Dillon Gabriel, no matter team, is a good football player and will thrive. Maybe this new scheme and staff helps him.

We disagree . Give me the two backups battling in camp over failure in Cleveland . Dallas has 5 draft picks total next April with maybe a few supplementals thrown in none of them need to be traded for this Cleveland under performer certainly .

It’s actually bizarre anyone would even entertain trading a draft pick for a guy about to be released by a new staff . He probably helped get Stefanski fired . Dallas does not need another Jonathan Mingo Trey Lance give away draft picks for nothing trades
