Dinner with T. Romo and R. Staubach

I've been listening to the FAN today and they've been talking about an auction for this. It's a dinner for you and two friends/family at III Forks, a steakhouse in Dallas, with Roger Staubach and Tony Romo. The proceeds go to Children's Health, a healthcare facility in North Texas I believe. If you want to bid on it, you have to call 214-525-7111.

I'm sure it will be out of my price range, but maybe someone here has the ability or desire to put their name in the hat. It would definitely be a cool thing to go do. If you happen to bid/win, be sure to give us some details.

If I won this I'd be sad cuz I don't have 2 friends to bring. Now I do have 14 nephews that would be fighting to go.

I doubt I would eat a single bite of whatever the dinner is. I'd be talking the whole time and too excited to eat.

"Hey Roger remember that play when you did...." "Hey Tony remember that time you juked Watts out of his jock and hit TWILL for a TD". That'd be me all dinner.

Maybe the Las Vegas Venetian Resort Hotel Casino should host the dinner? I bet Children's Health would get a boatload of contributions if the dinner was held there.

Wait. The league is known for squashing events that Romo's connected with. Better keep the dinner where it's at. Gotta think of the children first because the league doesn't.
