Directv Features

I don't know how many are familiar with Directv's feature that is called Demand. I'm in the process of downloading two programs, the Cowboys - Bucs Shortcuts, and the Cowboys - Bucs Highlights. It is available to Sunday Ticket subscribers.

The feature basically uses the internet to download the programs into your DVR, for viewing at your leisure. I use wireless from my computer to a black box that is plugged into my HD DVR. The next trick will be to see if I can record to a DVD.

Back in the day when I had DTV and ST it was basically a few highlights like you'd see on BSPN or NFL.com. Nothing special really.

Yeah they do. To me it is worth it for the NFL because I don't live in Dallas. I live in Indy and yesterday without it I would have got to watch 2 games yesterday.

That has to be the quote of the week!!! That feature is why I gave up Sunday Ticket.

Call me crazy but...................The non-HD nfl ticket channels are a much crappier picture now. They used to be alot clearer before they introduced the channels in HD. It's not because I'm used to HD programming either.
