Well, whoever it was that had a Directv thread going about getting a free HD DVR out of them if you complained loud enough, I have to tell you.
I called and talked to an agent and was told I could have a ten dollar voucher. ya who.
I sent an email to them complaining about having to pay $399.00 for a HD DVR. after 10 years of faithful subscription. They emailed me back and told me they were happy to hear my complaint (that was weird) and told me they'd get me hooked up with my new DVR free of charge within two weeks.
I was impressed with that kind of customer service. That's why I laugh at whoever keeps getting cable for $70.00 a month . Thanks for the tip guys.
