Qb position looked pretty questionable at times

Not a fan at all of the offensive play calling

Defense balled out against a really good QB

Dirty, but a win is a win, I can go to work and talk smack
These kinds of gritty wins make teams better as the year go. This was huge. If we clean up the flags and blown coverages during the bye, we might be dangerous. We may need 2 add a player via trade during the bye.

I was expecting offenses to take the center stage, but it was a defensive game full of sloppy penalty filled play. Cowboys go on the road and come out with a win though. We’ll take it to the bye.

No turnovers from the offense and the bizarre punt mishap-that I’m not sure carries blame.

-I don't know how it was a dirty win, they overcame a flag show and an odd turnover late in the game.

-Seeing Herbert tonight didn't make me think really good QB.

-Dak had a solid game tonight. Couple throws got away from him but he protected the ball and made plays when needed. That escape out of the pocket hitting Pollard in the middle of the field was one of the key plays of the game. Bottom line more good than bad tonight for Dak.

Road win against a competitive team...an allegedly "elite" QB...in a game with 20 penalties called. Who wouldn't take it?

Dak found his feet again, an offensive nuance - WAY more than a "nuance", actually - which history suggests could possibly be the difference between 12-5 and 9-8.

Congrats to the Cowboys...happy to sleep well tonight.

Great bounce back game, though sloppy with penalties, and many missed penalties as well (many not called on LAC, but a few missed on Dallas too). But also a few bogus calls on Dallas.

Dallas is 10-1 after a loss since 2021.
That was Dak's longest TD run in his career.

Dak played much better, actually pretty dang well, except he takes too many sacks. Or did he take them not to risk a bad pass on 2 of those sacks.
Offense got 2 TD's, still need to clean stuff up in the red zone.

Still do not like the run game. Pollard is not the guy but serviceable at times. He has as many no gains as he has a broken run type play. Like Barry Sanders but not nearly as good, not even close.

Going on the road to the west coast, 2 night games, it not easy to do. We are 4-2, which is where most would have predicted anyway. I was thinking 5-1 at this point, but would be ok with 4-2. No way I thought we would be 3-3 or worse.

Aubrey is FANTASTIC.

Pretty awesome having a kicker again!

Honestly can say I juat watched the first series and then turned off...watched highlights this am but seems like dak played better...

I'm still on team don't care until I see them put together wins against good teams...have to beat the Rams and the eagles....

This made it a lot closer than it had to be:

Unfortunately, a pair costly miscues would turn the advantage back over to Los Angeles. Jalen Tolbert, in an effort to recover what he thought was a punt first touched by the Cowboys, instead touched it first himself and the Chargers recovered the ball at the Dallas 20-yard line.

That was then followed by a pass interference call on Stephon Gilmore, which meant in two snaps of the ball the Chargers went from their own 30-yard line to the Dallas 5 without any real offensive production.

Game is usually replayed on NFLN at 2:00 PM CST the day after the game.

Yeah, good win. But not getting pumped up over it. Beat the Rams after the bye week. Then go to Philly and win that game. Then they should have 4 winnable games after those (if they can win those other 2). NYG, Carolina, Washington and Seattle, then home against the Eagles. Not an easy schedule unless they get their issues sorted out.

I was just saying it was a bit ugly.

But ...we ground it out, stayed tough....just hung in there...got us a huge win on the road.

I'll take it!

dirty? or a tough win against a good team. Dak was above average in this game. 70% completion rate. 2 Tds. made plays when needed.

our OL protection and their play generally was bad. both in pass protection and running game. not sure what's wrong with them. Gallup has fallen off the cliff.

The QB who you’re saying looked questionable completley outplayed the QB you called really good. Herbert had some really bad wide open misses including Allen for a TD. One QB setup the game winning drive, the other threw an int. Reverse those situations and ppl here would be called Dak horrible while some say Herbert is still great.

It doesn't matter who the coaches or players are they always seem to be undisciplined. Week in and week out year in and year out the are routinely one of the most penalized teams. Good thing Herbert couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Guys running open all night. I knew they would miss Diggs but I didn't understand just how much.

Yeah, would really like to see them win the next 2 before I put any stock or hope back into the season - they have two weeks to heal up and get ready, plus they know what's coming with Philly.

Unfortunately I still can't see how they get past the 49ers unless there are serious injuries which i refuse to hope for.

At this point, I think 6-2 means season is turning up, 5-3 means same old, 4-4 means we're in trouble
