Disaster Ahead

[phildadon86]

And a dropped pick six and run from 1 from 4-1

How would the dropped pick six have them at 4-1? They had already lost 2 games.....

And u mean the same Daniels that didn't know to spike the ball and cost them a win last week?

So because he did that a week ago, you are discounting the 15 yards a carry he had in our game? lol Alrighty then.

I wrote "and a play from 1" Baltimore game.

Sorry missed that thought it was a typo.

Play from the 1 where Dak threw a Brucie pass into the stands? That play from the 1?

The fact of the matter is, if this team was good, they would be 4-1. They arent. You are what your record says you are. My point of contention is that they are very lucky to not be winless.

That Houston game had some VERY questionable calls, as did the Washington game. And it wasnt against Dallas.

Why do posters here only use the "you are what record says you are" when we are under .500 but during the 12-5 yrs, it was meaningless?

Because when you are 12-5 and you make the playoffs.

Then you are what your playoff record says you are.

Not hard to figure out.

This team is literally a Daniels injury and a competent coaching staff in HOU from being 0-5.

Or from being 4-1.

See how easy it can work both ways.

[b0xZZ]

100% agree.....This franchise is a train wretch but Jerry refusing to look in the mirror & the fans continue
to buy the FOOLS GOLD he sells each season

Im told by the kool-aid crew that if you think this way you should just go away lol

It never works that way for Dallas.

Why engage in "mindless garbage" when there are so many factual statements available to make a point?

Here's one:

Since the last Thanksgiving game the Cowboys are 2-0 against the Commanders and 1-7 against the rest of the league.

However, the "disaster ahead" is not the remainder of the season. It's the inability to retool over the next few seasons due to the lack of draft picks. This is the repercussions that the "all in" crowd always seem to sweep under the rug.

Because it fits their narrative.

Disagree....I understand what the person was trying to state. The Cowboys could easily be 0-5 because of the points made. Commanders were mauling the Cowboys until Daniels went down. And the Texans game, the Cowboys were getting mauled again, in the 1st half. Prescott was lost. But to give this team credit, Lamb/Dak connection woke up and pulled the game into the win column.
Five games times 4 quarters equals 20 quarters overall. In those 20 quarters played, this Dallas team has looked BAD for majority of them. And especially the defense looks pathetic for 15+ of those.
*** And Dak and Jerry sold this was a SuperBowl caliber team.....again.

With this defense this is going to be a dog fight whomever we play. Backup QB, 3rd string QB, 3 string offense.

We can’t contain the run/pass, no turnovers etc.

Until that changes nothing is right there for the taking.

[cowboyfan44]

It never works that way for Dallas.

Define “never” because Dallas has won the second-most regular season games since 1970, more than the Patriots.

Yeah.

Now do their playoff record. Since 1995.

Guess that doesnt factor into your "narrative" does it.

See how that works both ways there champ?

The difference is with the "all in" crowd.

Trading Micah wasnt a part of that.

Trading Micah for freaking Kenny Clark and Q wasnt part of that equation.

Switching to a 3-4 AFTER trading Micah wasnt part of that equation.

We were promised the pass rush would be better, and the run D would be better.

They are both monumentally worse.

And now there is not draft picks to fix it, a GM who doesnt know what hes doing, and a person whos 2nd in command who made a statement about Gurleys contract being the floor of negotiations with Zeke negotiating contracts lol.

Oh, lets not forget, a HC who has been in the league over 20 years with a popular last name who didnt get his first chance until Jerry didnt want to leave the building to hire a new one.

[Flamma]

Or could have beaten Baltimore and not had a ball tip in the air to 4-1 see how that works IF is a big word!

Wait, I can add a what if to this. If Todd Bowles had two brain cells to rub together, the Cowboys lose 27-10. It doesn't come down to the tipped pick against Tampa.
