I'm amazed at the extent to which people think NFL players and coaches are such delicate hothouse flowers that the moment there's some news or gossip about the team, they instantly lose their ability to do the job they've been doing for years.

Almost as amazed as I am at the people who think that fans discussing future things like the salary cap or the draft or next week's game has a disastrous impact (or any impact) on the team's ability to win this week.

How many off field altercations did the Cowboys have this season? How many suspensions? How many arrests?

Any DWI's? Vehicular homicide? Domestic abuse?

Any wide receivers acting crazy in bars after midnight?

The Cowboys players have been so law abiding, careful, and sensible that we now have to create distractions to talk about.

Everything is fine. Talk is just that....talk.
