Dividing The Touches 09 RB's

Soooooo just a thought about next year I think this is the way we should divvy up the touches...

Barber 15-20 Carries
Felix 8-15 Carries, 5+ Catches
Choice 1-5 Carries

I know that would average out to about 30 carries a game which is quite high but if this is who we are a power running team or just a running team then they should see the ball... Definitely need to use Jones more. No more of this no carry 1st quarters for him. Come out and hit teams with the Lightning than use the Thunder. And as for Choice why the hell not try to at least get him involved. Good change of pace back that hits the hole quick and is usually good for 5+ Yards.

No reason we can't use em all... These 3 guys are much better than the Giants 3 in my opinion and they run them well.. the results speak for themselves.

With a -11 turnover ratio, I hope they turn into a run oriented team. We'll never get into the playoffs with that many turnovers. That's pathetic considering the Cowboys had the most sacks in the league.

I wouldn't mind us running the ball 28-30 times a game. That would keep the passing attempts down, thus keeping Tony from getting hit as often, and with the three backs we've got I really do believe with 28-30 carries a game amongst them that we could really put together a running attack as good, possibly better, than the Giants have.
