As it stands, the only team I worry about is Philly. But they are in trouble, and we can benefit.
--Nate Sudfeld might start the season, as Wentz and Foles are hurt
--Jason Peters has not played a snap yet
--Jefferies is on the PUP list and will probably miss the first six weeks
--Bradham is suspended for the first game against Atlanta, which looks like a loss right now for Philly
--Most of Philly's backups on the o-line are not playing well: Semunalo is horrid and Chance Warmack is showing that he will not be anything other than a career backup. Big V looking spotty this preseason
--In the first eight games, they have to play the Vikings, Falcons, Panthers, Jags, and Titans, non pushovers there, and a divisional game against the NYG, always tough
I have faith that we can go 5-3 the first eight games. I think that will put us in first place the first half of the season. We take of business the second half, especially by taking a game from Philly (who should be full strength by them), and I believe we will be first in the NFCE. Of course Philly could go 7-1 the second half, but I don't see it happening.
