Division Title is there for the taking....

We need to win out and get home field advantage and a first round bye along with another division title.

A first round bye this year means that we'll have TWO playoff wins since 1996!

Wade gets crushed for that comment, but I agree with his logic.

Being good enough to earn a 1st round bye IS essentially the same as earning a wildcard spot and winning your first game, is it not?

That would be great.
But, honestly, I prefer a tougher road.

I dont want the division title. Its a short term joy.

I would prefer to get in as the last WC(#6) and run the table.

I dont think this team knows what to do when things are going well.

I do think we are going to bust that arse on the Giants in the rematch though.

I pointed that out 2 years ago and got blasted for it. We EARNED that bye because we dominated in the regular season. To me that is the same as winning in the first round. However we did it, we earned a divisional playoff game.

I think Dallas has as good of a chance as NY or Philly I felt that way heading into the season and still feel the same. Then again I tend not to panic at the 1st sign of trouble. Dallas has gotten off to a slow start but it is not how you start it is how you finish. I expect this team to continue to work hard and improve as we go forward. I see a different mindset with this team than I have with recent teams. Last year was a wakeup call in my opinion.

It's not the same. Lol... it just isn't! A playoff win is WINNING A PLAYOFF GAME..

It's like conceding that getting to the divisional game is "ok"..

How great would it be to win the East two out of the last three years when we hadn't done it for a decade before that?

The Eagles and Giants are still going to be really tough, though. And we have to stay healthy.

I agree. Giants losing 2 in a row is not a reason to think they will fold tent. Like most teams Giants hit a bump in the road and I expect them to get things going in the right direction.

Yeah, sorry, but this team can benefit from getting a playoff bye-week if they make it in because their older players (like Broooking and Flo) will sure need the rest. Also this team plays phenomunally after a bye-week, and the extra week allows for them to re-practice fundamentals. That would do wonders for this team. I don't think anyone is going to Cabo this time.

I'm your huckleberry.

We've only played 1 Division game, so there is still alot of football to be played.

I never bought into the notion that we couldn't win the Division just because we lost to the Giants and the Eagles, along with the Giants were blowing people out.

If you watch the NFL long enough, you know there are ebbs and flows. Teams get hot early and sizzle out and vice versa.

Just like the Giants and Eagles, I don't expect Drew Brees and the Saints to continue to put up huge numbers. I just don't think an Offense is going to be insync game after game after game.

The Cowboys will be in the mix for a Playoff Sport throughout the season and I stated a few weeks ago that the New Orleans game will be closer than some people think.

Right now all I want is a win against Seattle. I'll start worrying about division titles after Thanksgiving.

I agree. I want to win this week and I want to see this team playing better football in all phases. Offense, defense and special teams. Granted any win is a good win but I would really like to see this team continue progression and playing well as they did this past week.
