Uh, yeah. He's been the feel good story for 3 years.

Feel good story and fan favorite are two different things IMO. I couldnt care less about the guy, he never did anything on the field for me to think of him as a "fan favorite"

Michael Irvin was a fan favorite. Dez Bryant is a fan favorite. Marcus Dixon is training camo fodder.

Huh?

:laugh2:

If I'm reading that right, it looks like the tweet came from his agent. Thus the spin.

He was never big enough to make it. Never got the love for him.

Yeah, but, every offseason there were a few posters hoping he'd make it because of his background.

I don't think he's PS eligible - he's been on it for two years running.

He is. I think you can be for up to 4 or 5 years as long as you have less than 7 games played in the league. Or something like that:)

He was a feel good story. But he has no place on the roster and no need to subject to the PS again. We've seen enough.

I found the rule, it's kind of confusing:

"(You are eligible if you) .. Have been on the practice squad with a particular team no more than 2 prior seasons unless the team never had their active roster go below 53 players during the two years the player served on the practice squad. If that is the case, the player is eligible for a third practice squad season."

So I don't know if we ever went below 53 the last two years. If we didn't go below 53, then looks like he's eligible for another year on the PS. (NFL penalizes you if you go below 53?) .... :confused:

on galloways terrible show with galloway/mosely/ the horrible ian fitzsimmons they had broaddus on and he said they are debating hurd/holley...and leon williams was told he made the team which means octavien is out.

If we keep holley over hurd that is just crazy.

lol I could never get mad at you, joe.

i could never get mad at your either, buddy; sometimes stuff you say, puts a smile on my face buddy;

:)

Dixon spent the time in the conditioning room as well as doing all the work to make it. He contributed in the charity work in the off season very strongly as well. If he doesn't own up with Dallas, I'm wishing him a NFL career with some team....
