With me it's more a matter of his intelligence and decision making. If he did take money, fine whatever. But posting it less than a week before the draft is just completely DUMB. I think we have enough dumb players on the team.

Add that to his single digit Wonderlic score (or was it an 11? Either way, it was bad) and I don't want anything to do with him.

This should be a basic IQ test here.

Anyone who believes Fluker posted that should not be allowed to procreate.

He didn't post that nonsense. He didn't type his tweets in that manner AT ALL and didn't speak in "wats" and "pimpns".

He certainly didn't do it in between his suit shopping for the NFL draft and talking about being blessed.

Ever hear of a little place called Auburn? Guess where this nonsense likely came from?

Have you heard the man talk? Don't know if he talks about wats and pimpns but he sounded like an excited forrest gump when I seen him in an interview.

Either way. Players going to be drafted do stupid stuff every year. Just because it seems it is too stupid to be real does not mean it is.

Exactly.

I guess a "Hacker" also destroyed that hotel room during the combine?

while a thread of truth to that, it helps to use the brain occasionally.

Fluker hasn't ever posted anything remotely like this but all of a sudden fires off tweets saying he took money and never attended class? All 2 days before he is to be drafted and less than 24 hours before he heads to NY for the draft? ROFL!!!

Yea, that happens....

I tend to agree. I actually read an article that discussed some of the moves agents will make on behalf of their players. This included putting out rumors about other players to push their stock down and therefore raise thier own clients up.

I can't find the article now, but I'm pretty sure it was part of a story on why Eric Elam doesn't have an agent. It was sort of a throwaway line touching on some of the lesser known advantages of having an agent before the draft. Wish I could find that particular article. There are others on Elam, but don't mention the 'fringe benefits'.

In any case, it didn't seem too far fetched. It's also not difficult to hack a twitter account. (If you want to call overhearing or guessing a password "hacking" ). To me, it sound more far-fetched that Fluker would drop a bombshell like this when it could only hurt his value.

I can live with what you are saying. It is beyond stupid if he actually did this; but I have my doubts he is this dumb. :laugh2:

I have to believe it was hacked, no one can possibly be that stupid to tweet all that just few days prior to draft to hurt his draft status.

This really sounds like an obvious case of hacking. He may not be the highest IQ guy out there, but this doesn't fit what has pretty widely been said about him in terms of overcoming early adversity and having high character. So suddenly two damaging tweets two days before the draft? And I say this as someone who isn't in favor of us drafting him.

Here's more on the agent's response. He not only claims the Twitter account was hacked but that they know who did it and are waiting to get some proof, and in contact with Twitter about it.

Would think it would be pretty easy to verify through twitter. I am sure they probably log the IP #s.

Well, I have no proof but Seban is a cheat and he's been doing it since long before he ever went to Alabama IMO. He did the same thing at LSU. He simply denied knowledge of it.

There is a reason that Alabama went from crappy to National Championships overnight IMO. It's not just coaching either. That's my opinion anyway.

Well, I have no proof, but Saban is a cheater. If you have no proof, then how do you know? Women's intuition kicking in?? :D

There is no question that LSU was cheating, I am not unsure of that and there is plenty of proof. The only question was the one where Saban said he new nothing about it. How do you not know that your program is dirty? If he was clean, why did LSU, itself, discipline Saban for NCAA Violations? He was dirty and LSU knew it.

I have no proof of cheating at Alabama but it won't be long before it comes out. Already, reports are surfacing. It won't be long IMO.

Whoever did it could be using a program/website to hide and "change" their IP. It's surprisingly easy.

Yea, you can "ghost" your IP so it appears as a different IP than what is actually being used or you can "bounce" your IP so that a different IP registers every 5 seconds for example, where you just bounce it from one server to another.

Pretty basic was to hide your IP if you are doing something you don't want traced very easily, like hacking a Twitter account or pirating music downloads, ect....

Not saying that is what happened in this situation, just saying it is not as hard as people think to hide your IP.

Whether you ghost or hide your IP it still proves what I am saying.

If it did not come from his phone and his area...it's not him no matter who is doing it and hiding/ghosting the IP.

It would be pretty obvious if the IP is saying it is a russian number that it is not him.

Chances are if it says the IP# is unavaible ...it is not him.

They just got to look at his previous tweets and do the old seasame street song...one of things is not like the other. :D

Again...should be pretty simple to figure out if it was from him or someone else.

The only thing that would be difficult is if someone took his phone, tweeted from his phone and put it back so DJ got his phone later without knowing someone used it.

When I first read this, my first though was that an Auburn fan had hacked his account.

His agent came out and said it was hacked and that they had the IP address, so they know who did it.

Even a Big 10 writer went back over 40-50 of Fluker's previous tweets and the language and spelling in the previous tweets didn't match the language and spelling in that tweet.

This is a non-story.

i agree, i should have made my point better, not just a direct statement to him and another poster even said someone went over his other tweets , and the language and style doesnt match.

But in other cases, its not so clear cut OR the person gave their phone to someone . There are just a ton of loops for it.
