Yeah, he's very QC like- I would vomit if we drafted him in any round, quite frankly.

I had no idea how good West Virginia is. I hadn't seen them all year. They are impressive.

Pass on Shockley. Too erratic.

Got a good arm and good mobility, other than that, nothing special, very erratic.

I could see him developing along the lines of guys like Rich Gannon, Trent Green and Brad Johnson. Several years into his career he could possibly be a legitimate starting caliber QB.

More than likely he will be a decent backup. That's kind of what I see in Green, the guy he backed up all those years in Georgia.

I like the kid. He's nothing like Quincy. He's faster, he's got a stronger arm, and he's a better passer from what ive seen of him. I dont know about too erratic, he's been on the money for the most part in all the SEC games i get to watch. Only 5 ints in something like 300 pass attempts this season, that doesn't say "erratic" to me. And in the 5 games ive seen uga play on tv, it seems apparent that with the exception of that one WR #1 and Pope the allamerican caliber TE, no one on that team can catch worth a durn.
There was a graphic on the screen tonight after the last score, Shockey set the school record for tds in a season, 28 total. 28 TDs, 5 Ints in the SEC, Big-time arm (maybe the best in college football)...the only knock on him I see is his size. Only 6'1" or 6'2".

Just watch, after the combine this kid will shoot up the charts to a 2nd round pick or so. His armstrength is unreal; he chucks deep passes down the field and/or across his body with the flick of a wrist.

I wouldnt draft him in the first, or even in the 2nd as we have waaaay more pressing needs than QB, but I have a better feeling about him than any other QB in the draft (or possibly in the draft) NOT named Leinart, Young, or Quinn. I certainly like him better than Cutler. I think many that don't seem to like DJ here just see Athletic QB from UGA and assume he's QC all over again. If DJ Shockey is around in the 3rd, I'd definitely pick him there, or in the 2nd if i'm a team in need of a QB (which dallas isn't)

2006 is NOT the year for Dallas to be drafting a QB.

I like what I have seen from Cutler. He has nothing to work with in Vandy, so what he has accomplished is very impressive.

I haven't seen enough of DJ to have a good opinion. He does have a strong arm. That little guy out of Virginia may have a slightly stronger arm.(By the way, I see him as the next Randel-El) JaMarcus Russell at LSU has the strongest arm in college. He can launch the ball.

People keep saying that Cutler doesnt have anything to work with in Vandy, but Vandy always seems to have a really good QB. The guy before Cutler was pretty good, i forget his name, but I think he's in the NFL somewhere.

Vandy is usually the worst team in the SEC. Bad teams usually don't have a lot to work with, but I don't catch a lot of Vandy games to be an expert.
ESPN lists these guys as current NFL players from Vandy:

Vanderbilt
Corey Chavous Safety Minnesota Vikings
Justin Geisinger Offensive Guard Buffalo Bills
Jovan Haye Defensive End Carolina Panthers
Hunter Hillenmeyer Linebacker Chicago Bears
Shelton Quarles Linebacker Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Matt Stewart Linebacker Cleveland Browns
Jimmy Williams Cornerback Seattle Seahawks
Jamie Winborn Linebacker Jacksonville Jaguars
Todd Yoder Tight End Jacksonville Jaguars
