Last night was summed up by pressure placed upon Eli, plain and simple. After an opening drive that was successful, Eli was pressured all night long after that. Pressure=mistakes!!! The DL this week must dominate, stop the run and pressure Eli all night long, time for the guys to step up and take a game. The Defense will be as healthy as it has been all year, enough talk, crying over Romo/Dez etc....take care of business and steal a game...

Eagles crowded the line and made sure Eli had to hold the ball a bit longer than he wanted to allowing their front seven to get to him.

What I don't want to see but fear we will, is a conservative plan where we let them dink and dunk us to death afraid of getting beat deep.

Doubt it, they went after Brady and threw everything at him why would they change? Giants are not the Pats. Eli will be running for his life all night

I think the Niners had the gameplan, but they couldn't quite execute it. Get Eli out of the pocket thru pressuring up the middle with stunts. The Niners could not stop those easy underneath passes, partially because their LB's are slow. So I expect we will find ways to stunt to the inside and flush Eli both to the right and the left. And hopefully the LB's can get on the underneath stuff, particularly the slants.

How much pressure on Eli last night was from the front 4 only, and how many times did they blitz to get that pressure. Or even rush 5 as opposed to 4.
Marinelli likes to rush 4 most of the time, and does not use blitzes too often. So does he adjust somewhat and blitz more. Can our LB's and DB's cover long enough for the pass rush to get there in time.

I agree Philly rushed 4 and at time 5 but had a safety back rolled to Beckham side. I don't think Dallas will need to blitz to get to Eli. I think Hardy, Mincey playing inside along with Lawrence and the return or Gregory will be enough to pressure Eli through out the game.
