I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to play NT.

You do need to be able to read and digest a playbook, and I have serious doubts of his ability to do either.

Maybe it's a personal preference, but I think dumb players get you beat, either by blowing an assignment or taking a stupid penalty. When you know ahead of time that a guy is lacking in intelligence, that to me is a big red flag, and I stay far away.

The perfect example that comes to my mind is Leon Lett. Dude was dumb as dirt which did lead to a shortened career. But the dude could really disrupt the offense and was a big contributor in the 90s super bowl teams.

He has had problems in the classroom , but how smart do you have to be to draw double-teams. The only two things in a NT playbook is drawing a double-team and collapsing the pocket. There is a 50/50 chance that , at the worst, he will run the correct play.

Christian Ballard and Cam Jordan are still a little light for 3-4 DE. I would have liked to see them get into the 290 range. The potential DLinemen we could take:
