But, we are not the same w/o him. He is a disruptor. Badly needed. W/ him, Osa, and Micah, our D is on a completely different level.

Anyone else notice how suddenly our much maligned DB unit looked viable? Didn't hurt that Hill hurt his finger!!!!

He always has a few good plays, but then seems to go cold. Glad he's back just want him to be a bit more consistent. Take over a game like Jones from the Chiefs did against us, a force ALL game long
Mornin' Coogles, my man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DLaw is a good disruptor, not a top tier. He needs to be paired w/ other "good" disruptors. That's why I titled this as I did.

Good point, but why start with, he's overpaid.....aren't they all? Stick to football on the field.

Because it matters in this instance. DLaw insisted on being paid as a top tier pass rusher. Getting guys around him matters a ton, so paying him in this manner makes it much harder. And doing so costs the team in other areas. So, this is about football on the field. Pay DLaw 14 mil, spend the remaining 6 mil on a starting OLineman, and this team is much better.

How do you not see this?

I watch football...I let the FO worry about the pay.....why cry about it? It's done, let him play....that crap talk should be saved for the off season

Him, Gregory, Parsons, Diggs all together are flat out studs. Can wait to see our defense for 5 Games with all of them on field at same time.

DLaw is good player that is paid like a great player. Dak better be careful because he is headed in the same direction.

I'll never understand a man concerned about another man's thoughts. Instead of clicking into a thread to make childish remarks, why don't you ignore threads you're not interested in?

Contracts are never ancient news. They affect the team, sometimes to a great degree and sometimes long after the player is gone.

How in the world do you not know this? Don't get out much, hey?
I offered a counterpoint to a point. If your point can't handle scrutiny then it shouldn't be said in the first place. "Contracts are never ancient news" that's one of the dumbest comments that's ever been said here. The FO has ways of making everything work under the cap and they've done fine doing so. IMO, when you covet another man's possessions(like money) you are breaking a biblical commandment. How do you not know this? Don't live your life according to the word of God, hey?

I was impressed by DLaw last night. He hasn't played a down since Week 1 and his name was getting called on the first defensive snap.

Yes, he is overpaid. At $21 million per year he should be doing more EVERY game not just this one game where he was fired up to play.

This does not mean I think he sucks. He is a very good player and the Cowboys need him. But there are good DEs around the league making 5 million less per year.

Tank played decent last night. It WAS against backup OTs though. Let’s hope that he earns that contract going forward. He has a LOT of ground to make up. Let’s hope he justifies his cap hit.

sorry, but i did not see that.

all i saw is that our pass rush from the left side was non existent when he was in. else with parsons.
and i did not see any plays from him where the ball carrier was tackled for a loss. else with parsons.

the guy is all hype no substances. has a good play or two in a game but then disapears.
