Twitter: DLaw to Seahawks

3 year $42M?????

Bye!!!!!!!

Traded up to get him in 2014. 11 years in Dallas.
$14 million / season for 3 years at soon to be 33 year old?

Greedy bastid! D-Law was all about how much $$$$ he could get. He had no loyalty to the Cowboys. Jerry overpaid him on his last Cowboys extension, and D-Law did not live up to that paycheck.

Good riddance! Hope he sucks in Seattle and their ****** weather and stadium.

every time I look at our cap in the offseason in madden (and granted I have no idea how accurate it is) it never made sense to bring him back or Zack Martin (who obviously ended up retiring anyways)

$18M guaranteed isn't bad for Seattle. It's a little more than 1 year guaranteed. So headline numbers aside, this is basically a 1 year prove-it deal.

Mike MacDonald runs a conservative scheme that mixes in more 3-man lines than most teams. DLaw fits in there as a premier run stuffer.

I don't understand why so many are against the Law. He was a good player, rarely overran the play. He didn't make a lot of splash plays, but he was solid
The 'tired" comment wasn't inspiring but he was underappreciated for his solid run stopping.......people tend to want to see better sack numbers when an edge guy is paid that much, I guess

How does losing him make us worse? He hardly played last year.
The problem is the Cowboys lost Golston and D-Law, both starting DEs last season, while Sam Williams is coming off two torn knee ligaments. This means the Cowboys definitely need to address DE in this year's draft. That's not including having a hole at DT as well.

No hate from me, he was a very good player - not a great player.
Wish him all the best with the rest of his career, and thanks for the 4th round comp. Pick next year !

hopefully lawrence does not get to tired come playoff time to show up for the seahawks if they make the playoffs. i just can not get over two years ago against the packer he said that after the game was over was his excuse for playing poorly. i think the said that.
