It is cool to hear the real play by play from the one doing it. It makes you wonder how much of the game for the players is eyes open eyes closed, hit, hit, memory flash, play running, play over.

I played a lot of soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf, and 1 year of football. All my plays were eyes were open. I was small and played football in 6th grade. I have a memory of being at the bottom of the pile, and of this huge guy with hairy hands, a deep voice, and facial hair. After he layed me out, I remember him helping me up and asking me if I was ok, and I was thinking how is this guy playing with me.

1. At the end of the year, what ranking by performance do you have the DE's? List: Dlaw, Fowler, Sam, Armstrong, Golston, and partime Micah

2. If you played football, did you ever make big plays with your eyes closed.

5th grade. Peewee baseball. Playing center field. Catch a high fly ball. Go back to the bench and the coach said it was the most amazing catch he had seen. I say why. Answer...Because you caught it with your eyes closed...

I am sure your coach was rooting for you to catch it, but i bet he would have enjoyed you missing and getting hit by the ball as well
