DLmen with total pressures, Vikings have 2 ranked in top 5

News flash: Griffin and Hunter are really, really good.

If anyone in the NFL has the tackles to stop them, we do, but it's not going to be easy.

Run the ball right at them. Of course, with our inept coaching, they won't.

Good thing we have one of the best O lines in the league. Not worried about.

Need to run at the DEs to slow down that rush. Elliott will need to be fed early and often, control TOP to keep Cook and Diggs on sidelines. Cousins will get his yards but Cowboys will get TO opportunities.

Against the Chiefs, the middle of the field (of the Vikings D) was open all game long. Our TEs need to be targeted often. Keep Barr and Kendricks occupied.

In fact, now that I thinking about it, their DL is probably just a good as Saints.......didn't handle them well at all.
Haven't seen them much this year but the little I've seen - they seem to be a pressure D like NO, they also like to play their LBs close to the LOS, not afraid to leave their secondary in one on one coverage.

They might be better off going with a short, ball controlling against this D.

Long developing plays are not your friend this week.

O-line will be tested. Dak as well if they get past our O-line. Zeke if he can find and get through the holes the O-line may create for him.

Either way, this is not a good matchup . This adds to my list of worries. Last time we went against a dominant D-Line, we got shut down hard (Saints).
Relax, Chicken Little. The sky is not falling.

Whoa . . . if there's any sign of trouble, Dak might have to get his passes out lickety-split.:omg:

Suffice it to say, the Vikes will be a challenge and a half. We'd best bring our "A" game or else.

Here's hoping Tyron Smith, Zack Martin and La'el Collins are all fit and ready to give them hell.

This can't be good......

We will stone wall and scheme. Ahem. At least I hope we scheme! This game, with our talent, comes down to preparedness and coaching. We lose this game, we’re probably done if we don’t get some serious help.

Dallas needs to start off this next game, really strong. That will allow Dallas to dictate more of the game, than trying to counter the Vikings. They are a good team, but the Cowboys have some dynamics that haven't quite hit full stride yet. This is a doable game for Dallas, but will require execution.

Bold - I guess we're pretty much screwed...

Total pressures is meaningless. 50 pressures when your opponents have attempted 327 passes is...not particularly good. Hunter has played 496 snaps...DLaw has played 293. I'd sure as heck hope that Hunter has way more pressures.

Win rate, is way more telling, and nobody is better than Dallas. It's not even close.

Using round numbers, 50 pressures on 300 pass attempts is only a 17% win rate. Hunter is probably at, say, 275 attempts...which is only a 20% win rate.

Haha love a good beat down. Nice work.
