Who in this forum has watched DMAC all 3yrs of college? I have only seen highlights, the times I have turned to watch the Razorbacks games, Dmac was not impressive, he fumbled a couple of times, now Felix was impressive.

Now I will admit this as soon as I would turn away from the game and watch another game, like one of my favorite teams, DMac would end up with over 100 yards.

So anyone that has watched him all three yrs, I am asking you to inform me, do DMAC get stronger as the game goes along? Is he a powerful runner between the tackles, or is he a Back that has to get to the edges?

Now I do not see him being like Adrian Peterson, he looks smaller than AD, upper and lower body, definitely in the legs, he does not look like he has much pwoer in the legs.

Michael Turner, may be another Lamont Jordan.

i have payed a lot of attention to him the last 2 seasons. he can and does run between the tackles. he hits the hole hard and fast. obviously he can and does run to the edges but i think that's because he knows how to use the whole field. he fumbled a lot this past season but that can be fixed(tiki barber anyone). he doesn't look as muscular as other rbs but don't let that fool you. he can run with power also.plus he's only 20 years old and is still developing as a man and a player. the sky is the limit for this kid.

He does get stronger as the game moves along. You have to remember that Darren played in the best defenseive confrence in football. He also had no supporting cast and teams had 8 in the box all day and still managed to put up good enough numbers to be Hiesmen runner up two years in a row and most likely would have won it had he stayed.
He is much more physical then people know or like to admitt. And most importantly he is an all around back. He can catch, throw, run and block.
Is he worth moving up for? Um? It wouldn't be the worst thing we could do seeing as there will be very good talent at WR and CB later in the draft and we could always sign a guy like walker and trade for a guy like Pacman.
But I think that the later rounds of the draft are loaded with talent and we would be better off trading down then up. I would rather grab a bunch of players who are sleepers or who are slipping because of Injury conceren or for morality reasons. I did a pretty big post on how I would like our draft to go but I doubt it will. There will also be alot of realy good looking raw talent that will more then likely hit the Undrafted free agency. Brooks Daniels, Demetuis Bell, Mourice Murray, Tim Hightower and Hershel Dennis just to name a few.
But like I said it wouldn't be a disapointment to draft Darren.

Not to repeat what rampage said, I've seen the national games of the last 2 years. DMAC runs with that almost rare combo of power and speed.

When he'd hit an open spot in the field, next stop end zone. You almost had to watch him play a few times to appreciate how fast he is.

I've seen him hit a DB at full speed and the DB ended the play on his rear with DMAC still going.

And this stuff of him falling down from arm tackles...............please.

It'd be nice to have him, but its doubtful.

There is no doubt he can be a great player but he doesn't fix our main area of need. The secondary cost us the playoff game not the offense.

23 fumbles, all the red flag issues

Mighty risky to give him $20-$20 Million dollars and trade away 2-3 #1's
In a deep RB class

Yeger I understand that we need corners I think we all do but there will be good CB's and WR's in the later rounds. We could still get Walker to.

I disagree ..... If our offense would have played like it did in about 13 other games last year, we would have won that game.

I will admit that I am against trading up into the top 10 to get him ...... but if we did do it I would probably change my mind real quick.

The kid is awesome.

The offense didn't give up a td in 43 seconds. Yes the offense didn't play like they should have but that had more to do with the Giants d.

If it doesn't cost us a top young cb, Newman and Barber I'm all for it but I can't see it.

We do need a cb......especially with Reeves gone.
We'd need a CB even more if he was here.

Really?

Miles Austin wide-open for a sure 40 yard plus TD?

TO wide open on a slant that Romo over-threw, which would have been a sure TD.. instead, they settled for a field-goal...

Crayton dropping a wide-open pass that would have gone like 70 yards...

Crayton slowing down on a pass...

While Reebes definitely sucked, our offense was more to blame...

further, we already shored up our pass defense in a major way by signing Zack Thomas...
