Has anybody heard of a rift between Romo and Murray? My friend is pretty sharp and not prone to exaggeration and he said he read that they weren't speaking recently but can't remember where.

Has anybody else heard this?

Maybe a little something there....minor though, if at all.

But those two get along pretty well.

I do think Murray had very good reason to be furious in the Green Bay game. That was mostly the idiotic play calling was inexplicable..so that's 90% on Red and Callahan. But I know at least one play where Romo checked out of the run and ended up throwing a terrible pick. That was maybe my least favority play by him all season.
I can't imagine Murray would still be mad over that one play though...espcially since he and Romo are normally cool. Plus, it's not like Murray did not have a few muffs himself this year. They'll be fine.

I thought Murray should have been MVP last night. Even for the catch and run and TD alone. He ran hard and well last night.
Collinsworth complimented him on his season, saying, even having a few injuries, he still finished with over 1,000 yards with a 5.2 YPC which is up there with Jim Brown type average.

As for any rift with Romo & Murray, wh really knows. There are always rifts with players on every team. Just more publicized and blown up with Dallas.
If it's over checking out of running plays, this is Romo's call, and Murray needs to trust him on that. Yes seems to happen too much, but who are we to sit here and say he was wrong. He knows the plays and sees the defense, we sit here and just criticize when it doesn't work. But never give enough credit when it does.

I don't think Romo is checking out of plays to pad his stats. That analogy can apply here for people who post "jerry sucks" to pad their post count.

Murray has every right to want the ball more and should be furious with all of the quick outs that were initially runs.
