DMN 3 round mock draft

Its very interesting because they are both very very similar. Both excellent run defenders with insane athleticism with high motor and intensity. Both players you can safely bet will make a Day 1 mark on your defense.

To awnser the question. I would take Owa ( and Im a borderline Hunter Fanboy) Hunter could and IMO should develope into a pass rusher, but at this stage he is soley a 2 down guy. I believe Owa's pass rushing ability is more then what he was able to feature at UCLA and could be a 7 sack guy in 2015.

In either case I would welcome either with open arms

One big difference is that OO weighed 267 compared to 252 for Hunter so there is no concern about OO needing to gain weight or losing any quickness because he gained weight. Although Hunter was a really good run defender in college, he'll likely need to gain the weight to play DE in the NFL.

Here's what I ended up with:

(I can only wish!)

Round 1
Owamagbe Odighizuwa
dl, UCLA

Height: 6'3" Weight: 267

Round 2
Byron Jones
db, Connecticut

Height: 6'0" Weight: 199

Round 3
Duke Johnson
rb, Miami (FL)

Height: 5'9" Weight: 207

I question the programming logic behind this mock draft. It may be written by the same guys who attempt to draft Peyton Manning in the 6th round of your Fantasy Football draft, only to be informed that he was taken 80 picks earlier. They then follow up with an attempted pick of Calvin Johnson. At that point you send them to the store for more beer and auto draft in their slot giving high priority to Raiders and Jaguars.

1st. Malcom Brown

2nd. Owamagbe Odighizuwa

3rd. Jay Ajayi

Who needs one of the early DB if we can completely overhaul our defensive line like this. Get one of the shorty ball hawks in the 4th in Ifo Ekpre-Olomu or Senquez Golson to play nickle and we win the draft. Wish this was realistic though.
