we have had a short to intermediate passing game all year. In ny it was a benefit to us.

I believe it will be again tonight. Chicago likes to throw the ball down the field, they rely on it for their big plays.

I think the passing game favors us tonight.

I do as well, Beasley has been great for us with those short little passes, he gets off the line with very good quickness and has done a great job of moving the chains along with mr reliable Witten I think Dallas can have success in passing the ball but I think the running game will be a major factor tonight and I think Dallas will have to have success in that area as well as shutting down Forte.

So the fact that the conditions will force both teams to run the ball and the fact that the Bears have the worst run defense in the league is actually a bad thing for the Cowboys? Do I have that right? Ratliff's motivation, that's funny to me. Ratliff is going to get blown off the ball because Ratliff is undersized and not close to being in game shape. The fact that he has his panties in a bunch isn't going to change that.

Well we all hope, don't we.

Dome team against a team that practices and plays in this weather...I think that is the great equalizer.

I am going to the game tonight, but it is going to be close to 0 degrees around gametime. Right now, it is like 20 degrees in Chicagoland.

Temps players can deal with the wind is what will cause the balls to float and go off target if wind conditions are bad.

Bears practiced all week inside Dallas on the other hand held most practice outside in the very cold weather in Dallas. Dallas can get damn cold and windy as well.

It's not that Romo, Dez, Austin, Witten, Williams etc. can't out preform the Bear's passing game. It's that the passing game may take a backseat to the running game if the weather gets nasty. Our advantage in this match-up is with Romo and our receiving core. The more ideal the conditions for a passing attack, the more likely we will win.

As Jobberone stated, the return of key players on defense and the fact that Chicago has a worse record against the run, makes me feel we might have a slight edge at the ground game.

If we can keep the turnovers coming which is likely with a rookie QB and our new found ability to get turnovers, I'd say we are the favorite to win.

I agree, I am hoping to last all game, but we will see, I read that the winds are supposed to be 30mph-ish.

I'm hoping for winds to be a lot less. Winds like that affect a lot in kicks, punts and trying to catch the punts as well as passing game. I recall a GB vs Bears game where the wind was so strong the ball would move when the punter dropped the ball to kick, even the long snaps were iffy.
