Give it time. And here I thought Spencer was going to lose the leg.
Give it time.
Yeah, it's too bad that you're right. Our expectations get built up high and then injuries linger on. My guess, if we see Spencer, it won't be before week 8.Yep. It's still early. While it is progress, tomorrow could be his last day. He is a long way from contributing. He is in the Lee category while he could really help, he simply can't be depended on.
To expect anything more at this point is only setting yourself up for potential big time disappointment. While it is progress, tomorrow could be his last day. He is a long way from contributing. He is in the Lee category while he could really help, he simply can't be depended on.

Only here can encouraging news be spread so thin as to dissipate completely.
LOL!
Yeah.
I'm no expert on this type of surgery... But I gotta think if there was a problem with the surgery we would have heard about it by now, and they wouldn't let him start running or he wouldn't have started running due to the pain/discomfort. I would think the challenge now is to overcome the months of inactivity.

What? Dude is like Lee? Spencer got hurt last year...the year before he played 14 games and was the best player on our defense....and prior to that he played 16 games in 4 of 5 seasons and has been a rock.
