Babe Laufenberg, Dallas Cowboys radio color analyst and former NFL quarterback, answered questions in a chat Tuesday. Here are some highlights.
Question: What’s the over/under for Sean Lee?
Babe Laufenberg: Wow. Hate to even think like that, but I do know I am hoping that at the end of training camp, he has been healthy and thinks he is ready to go. I think if he can get his confidence back in training camp that his body will be able to hold up, that would be huge. If he gets hurt during a pre-season game, I may just throw up in the booth. I will be sick for him.
Question: Babe, what’s your very early prediction for the Cowboys this season?
Babe Laufenberg: My “very early prediction” is that it is too early to predict. How is that for straddling the fence? They look like a good team on paper, but every year is a different year for all 32 teams. A lot of things went right for them last year, including staying healthy, so you have to start there. The defense is still a question mark, as they are counting on two players with checkered pasts returning from suspensions (Hardy and McClain) , a number of rookies, and a secondary that is suspect. So we will see.
