Well, Let's do the math...

Murray would average about 25-30 carries a game.

If Sanders could carry the ball 30 times and then fall flat on his face he would gain 2yrds a carry. 2 X 30 = 60yrds

Sorry Barry.....60yrds doesn't = 75yrds. :(

lol

he would have to run 5-7 yards to the LOS and then fall forward for 2 yards :)

Oh this is great. Candice can cook. Romos going to be a fat backwards hat wearing QB since all he will do all off season is eat because of his back.

Haha...just because she can cook doesn't man she cook unhealthy food.

I guarantee, sign me to a 4-year deal, I will get you 100 yards....25 yards per season, no fumbles. Count on it!!!

How bout that!! Our GM has built an OL so good a 46 year old could get 75 yards behind it! Props to the GM

I wonder if he was talking about this line or the one in front of his rival, Emmitt? I'm sure it was a lil of both!

Now if they could only protect the QB! 10 sacks in 2 games. Ouch

Theyre good but theyre no where near as good as the line KC Chiefs had at the turn of the century.

I do laugh at it wasnt even 3 years ago when most said" what are the Cowboys gonna do with this OL"

Now anybody can get yards behind it.. I want to take a shot here but I cant do it!

I don't even like seeing the name "Barry Sanders" on a Cowboys fan message board.... great player BUT no Emmitt Smith.

As for the 75 yards comment, he'd probably break a couple big runs, then finish off with 10 carries for 6 yards....:)

We'd pull him as soon as we got inside the 10.

How many super bowls did we win after Smith left? Still had the same line. We had a great line then, just like we have a great line now. ES made them better, and they made ES better. It was a combined effort. Exactly the same now with DM.

Of course Barry would get about 43, then retire suddenly in the middle of a game.

And then this O-Line would beat him to a greasy spot. Sorry, I never got the Barry love pill. Never was my kind of player. Maybe because I had Emmitt...

The bitterness towards sanders is always amusing.

You got most of your yards behind the line, dude.

Tell us something we don't know.

Shall they dig up Gayle Sayers next?

Its the premise of the article. Amusing is bitterness of finding offense to never happened.

If my aunt had balls.......

75 a game in regular season, 5 yards in a playoff game.

He lit us up in 1992.

Let's just say he'd have 38... Which is what Dez Bryant averaged in 2 playoff games. Only adamjt13 could find a way to spin Dez's disappearing act.

He would gain 50 yards and then quit in the third. Always the bridesmaid..

Still remember that move he put on Ken Norton Jr.

Emmitt is the better overall back of course, but nobody had cuts and jukes like Barry Sanders.

Could you imagine what kind of numbers he would have put up behind a real line in his prime?
