This is my official entry into our unofficial contest to see who can predict the most Cowboys draft picks. The rules: Take players at the Cowboys' 11 picks, even though we all know Trader Jerry will move around on the second day. The five folks who get the most players right will get a Monday mention on this here blog and lifelong bragging rights.

51. Ohio State WR Brian Robiskie
Don't think Western Michigan S Louis Delmas will drop this far

69. Oregon State OL Andy Levitre
College LT could compete for Kyle Kosier's starting job at LG

101. Texas Tech S Darcel McBath
Converted cornerback with excellent cover skills and a nose for the ball

117. LSU OG Herman Johnson
The Cowboys love huge offensive linemen, and they don't get much bigger than 6-7, 364

156. Georgia LB Dannell Ellerbe
Might be able to play immediately in nickel and dime packages

166. Texas A&M QB Stephen McGee
High character QB with great tools who didn't realize potential with Aggies

172. Nicholls State CB Lardarius Webb
After departures of Anthony Henry and Pacman Jones, Cowboys need depth at CB

197. Fresno State TE Bear Pascoe
Cowboys could use a good blocker as the third tight end

208. Temple NT Terrance Knighton
Big body (6-3, 321) to enter battle to back up Jay Ratliff

210. Houston DE Phillip Hunt
He's not tall enough (6-1), but that didn't stop him from racking up 34.5 sacks in college

227. Texas DE Henry Melton
Ex-RB is raw, but he looks the part of a 3-4 outside linebacker

Oregon State OL Andy Levitre

This is the second time today I have heard two dallas writers bring up his name and the cowboys interest in him or perceived interest in him.

Oddly enough I don't recall many of them talking about him prior to this. Maybe there is a little fire with this smoke.

He's got a brother who plays for Zona, too.

At 69, I think he's much better value. I wouldn't like the pick at 51 (contrary to Goose's rankings).

Herman Johnson is freaking huge.

So we pick at 9:30? From what I recall each team gets 20 minutes. I keep calculating a much later time.

My only gripe with his mock is he has Webb going so late. He's considered top 90 talent. Goose has him 75.

Herman Johnson is huge, but did you see Peria Jerry take him to school in those drills at the senior bowl. Johnson got totally abused.

A TE named Bear Pascoe would be pretty cool.

I strongly suggest anyone who wants to draft Herman Johnson watch the Senior Bowl and specifically watch him.

I guarantee you won't want him in a significant round after that.

10 each in round 1.

7 minutes in round 2.

5 minutes for all day 2 rounds.

Peria got under his pads, when that happens, it's usually over for Olinemen

Thanks. Either they changed things or I forgot.

Don't like the first 2 picks, which means the likelihood of it happening this way is high. :(

Should we just settle if a preferred player isn't expected to make it to #51?

I'd rather move up ten spots or so and go after Louis Delmas or Hakeem Nicks or whoever we might be drooling over.

Last year's draft flew by using this format.

I thought it was actually a little too fast, but currently lacking a first round selection, it is most welcome this time around.
