Adam 'Pacman' Jones gives himself a passing grade

Adam "Pacman" Jones' debut in a Cowboys uniform wasn't spectacular.
He muffed a punt, although he was able to recover it. He was flagged for pass interference in the end zone on third-and-goal. And he didn't make any plays that will show up on the highlights, coming close to a pick that would have been an easy TD return.

"I passed," Pacman said when asked about his performance, noting that he didn't give up any big plays or miss any tackles.

Pacman expects to be much, much better. He's still getting comfortable in the Cowboys' scheme, and he's focused on improving his footwork after an unplanned, unpaid season of vacation. The big plays on punt returns will come.

Pacman does feel comfortable enough to predict big things for his new team.

"If we work together, it's going to be real hard to beat us," he said. "Period, point blank."

I give him a solid B. Anderson looked his way quite often and had to go to another receiver. That never happened with Reeves in there.

Pac played better than most think he did. The casual fan only saw the muff and the PI call in the endzone.

Oother than that PI call in the end zone that gave the Browns first and goal at the one yard line - I agree.

Memo to Pac: Don't fumble any more punt returns either.
