I checked with Fox his morning to see who would be calling the Cowboys-Chiefs nooner on Sunday I expected to hear the names Thom Brennaman and Brian Billick. I expected wrong.

Troy Aikman and Joe Buck have drawn Cowboys (2-2) - Chiefs (0-4) duty. The game will be inflicted on 40 percent of the nation.

Let's just say it will be a down week for Fox, which has only a single-header game this week.

Here's the other Fox nooner duds:

Bucs (0-4) at Eagles (2-1) -- 8 percent
Commanders (2-1) at Panthers (0-3) -- 9 percent
Vikings (4-0) at Rams (0-4) -- 15 percent

The network's lone 3:15 pm game
Falcons (2-1) at 49ers (3-1) -- 27 percent

I know that's a little off but it just seems we lose every damn game we play with Buck broadcasting, allowing him to have that anti-Cowboy smirk and tone of voice of his that I hate with a passion that can only come from Hell itself.

My issues.. is they so quick to diss Romo and the Boys... Romo this... No playoff wins that... but they make it a big deal when we lose? So which is it? Do we suck? Why do you expect us to win then? Lol...

You are right and by the way most of the games they broadcast seem to be “BIG” Games (obviously not this week) or very important ones since they are Fox`s number 1 team.

As a play-by-play guy Joe Buck does a fair amount of "color" IMO.

I loved Frank Gifford as p-b-p because he stuck very strictly to p-b-p and avoided color commentary. Summerall was the same way. When they did chime in it seemed to be primarily as a complement to the other color guys.

Buck seems like he wants to run the whole show - pbp & color. It bugs me.

Maybe it wouldn't except for the fact that the guy comes across so smug to me. That REALLY makes me wish he'd stick to pbp.
