Goodell loves Arlington

Albert Breer
Amid all the Pacman hubbub at the Hilton Anatole today, another Cowboy nugget got lost -- commissioner Roger Goodell sounds legitimately fired up about the new stadium in Arlington, set to open in roughly 16 months.
"I think it's extraordinary," Goodell said. "It's going to be a stadium that I think is going to set the bar in the NFL. It's going to do things that give fans an opportunity to get closer to the game. It's creative, it's innovative and I think it'll be received very well down here.
"With the video boards and things that are going to be done that I shouldn't disclose, things are going to be done in a way that makes everybody feel like they're right there in the front row. Seats that will be there as the players walk out, you'll be able to watch the players come out of the locker room.
"I think to be able to get our fans closer to the game, to do that with great facilities, that's what Jerry Jones and his family are trying to create."
