Another round with Giants?

As the New York Giants went into the ``Victory'' formation to run out the clock in Sunday's 31-17 win, Dallas Cowboys inside linebacker Bradie James sent them a message of respect.

See you in the playoffs, James said

In the days leading up to this game, James said the Cowboys wanted to bury the Giants. He wanted to avoid a repeat of the 2007 season, when the Giants eliminated the Cowboys in the post-season.

Now, James figures the Cowboys will face the Giants at some point in January.

``But we have to take care of our business,'' James said. ``The only way to do it is to keep winning. They (the Giants) will be winning, too. They're not going away.''

If they make the playoffs we won't. Philly is gonna make it and so is Green Bay.

We need to draft Bradies replacement....

It sure feels like if we do make the playoffs we will be hosting philly/ny or going to philly/ny.

Certainly would help if Baltimore would win tonight. GB does have a much easier schedule the rest of the way. The NY Philly game this weekend should be interesting.

And so it goes on and on

We can talk but backing it up seems to be our problem.

I really, really wish that James would just shut up. Enough with the talking before/after the game, how about doing it on the field...during the game.

I would love to see us play the GMEN in the playoffs.... if we want to get vengeance it will be in that game ..and if we lose again or we are just a bunch of 'wooses' as has been portrayed by some.

Didn't we sweep the Giants the year they beat us in the playoffs in Dallas, .. the year they won it all?

Beating them would be great payback.

Planning a rematch before the fight is over.

Pathetic.
Let's not overreact here. Players probably say these type of things all the time.

What is James supposed to do, expect not to make the playoffs, thats just stupid. He was showing respect to the Giants, saying they are a playoff team also.

no problem with what he said

i truly hope we win the division and host the giants in the playoffs

i want them to open the playoffs

Well if the Giants can beat the Eagles, and we beat the Eagles at the end, it's not out of the realm of possibility that the Giants and Cowboys go to the playoffs rather than the Eagles and which ever of us who makes it. I think it will be the Eagles as one of the two NFC East teams, with hopefully us, but I wouldn't be shocked if the Giants get in instead of the Eagles.

No thanks..

I am tired of the Giants this season. Dallas is not playing good enough ball to beat them.

Why even give the Giants respect, they certainly dont respect our team.

Amen. I actually like some good intimidating trash talk, but back it up even ONCE. I always get a sick feeling everytime James starts talking tough, because he never ever ever backs his stuff up.

Before the 2007 playoff game. Against Detroit when Kitna basically called him clueless. The whole week following the Giants' games this past Sunday.

Even against some sign waving fan-geek, James gets all tough but has to tuck tail between his legs and pay him off.
