Have you ever seen a baseball team's fortunes do such a dramatic reversal almost overnight than the Houston Astros?
They were baseball's hottest team, winning 14 of 15 games and putting themselves into the wild-card mix before Hurricane Ike postponed games for two days.
When they returned in Milwaukee, they were a different team.
No-hit by Carlos Zambrano. A one-hit shutout the next night.
Then they go to Florida. Score one run Tuesday. Score two runs Wednesday.
Outscored, 30-4 in four games, hitting barely .100 as a team. And done in the wild-card chase, too.
