Lots of Patriots jersey

Having watched the Red Sox-Indians game last night at a fine Uptown establishment with some friends from my hometown (Medway, Mass.), I saw an inordinate amount of Red Sox fans.

Texas Stadium looks to be filled with a lot of Patriots' fans, too. Lots of Tom Brady and Randy Moss jerseys are in the stands and roaming the parking lots. The last time I saw this many opposing fans came in 2004 when Pittsburgh came to town.

When Brady came jogged on to the field, he was booed, but there was a mix of cheers too.

Fans of the videos in attendance

In honor of Patriots coach Bill Belichick, two fans honored him with cameras on their helmets.

The Patriots fans are here yelling and screaming and booing. But not as much as the Cowboys' fans, who booed Tom Brady when he came onto the field.

Take the Pats to win though.

I just saw where Adrian Peterson just took one to the house against Chicago. Good luck next week against the Vikes.

Wow - Medway

I live 2 towns over past Bellingham. My son over the years played a lot of baseball in Medway. They have a big Summer Tondorf league there.

Dallas Fans need to show up today and drone them out.

well there are a couple Texans on that Pats roster that had to get a boatload of tickets. D-FW is a transplant city also. I won't be surprised.

Texas Stadium has to be the most visitor friendly stadium in the NFL.

Actually - I have heard Dallas may be one of the teams that pipe in fan noise to distract opposing teams....

But yes, the one game I was at I never saw a more courteous, quite crowd.

My money is on Dallas Fan showing up today -

Adrian Peterson is a monster!!!!

I don't like the idea of the opposing team having that many fans at a Cowboys HOME game!

I've never heard that TS manufactures crowd noise. I've read that Indy does, but never Dallas.

Edit: I guess I'll wait to see the game before jumping to conclusions about the stadium. Even if there are a bunch of Pats fans, if the 'boys fans do their job, then they can be drowned out.

You know, I knew this would happen. I knew we'd not have home field. Stupid fans selling their tickets. If you're not going to go to games, then don't buy tickets. It's that simple. There are plenty of fans that will.

Like I said last night....lots of bandwagon fans for the Pats. You wouldn't see this ten years ago.

Bandwagon fans? They have a 50,000 waiting list for season tickets. They like Red Sox, have a fanbase with $$$$$ and travel to see big games. I read locally hundreds of these Pat "fans" are family and friends of Pats players.....

Yeah...BANDWAGON FANS!

Where were these guys ten years ago? I didn't see one NE jersey, shirt, hat, etc until they started winning!

Anyway....most of this is over your head. I posted last night that most fans from other teams label us as Bandwagon fans. I'm merely pointing out that all teams have them.

Actually it was 1993/4 when Parcells/Bledsoe arrived that the 50,000 waiting list started. I put in 1997 era and still I am on waiting list...

Before that, yes - it was 30,000 watching in a poor facility with little fanfare.

I'm not talking about the Boston area. I care not for the snotty folks that live in the Northeast.

I'm talking about the supposed "fan base" across the country. I can't tell you how many Pats jerseys I see now. These are the same people that used to have Bucs jerseys or Bronco jerseys.

Same thing with the Colts around here.

I've seen a ton of Cowboy jerseys, but it's the same people that have been wearing them the last few years.

My point.....we have bandwagon fans....but so do the Pats, Colts, and other flavors of the month.

I'm tired of the double standard.

Hey, the Cowboys are undefeated in games I've watched them play.

If you guys want, you can take up a collection to get me to all the games.

I'll make the sacrifice for the greater good.

:D
