The Cowboys will not make a move at No. 3 quarterback until next week at the earliest but they had their leading candidate, Brooks Bollinger, in for a visit to Valley Ranch.

Bollinger, 28, is in his sixth season out of Wisconsin, spending his first three seasons with the New York Jets and the last two with Minnesota. He has completed 201-of-343 passes for 2,155 yards in 19 games with eight touchdown passes and eight interceptions. He started nine games for the Jets in 2005 and was 2-7.

In the preseason finale vs. the Cowboys last week he completed 6 of 18 passes for 62 yards without a touchdown or an interception and was sacked twice.

I find it somewhat funny we are looking so closely at a 3rd QB for insurance, but didn't think twice about keeping only two healthy WR's to open the season.

These stats are better than Campbell's, anyway.

Looking again, I realized we are talking Eli like numbers.

Really.... I thought Bartel outplayed him in that game vs the Vikes.

I agree the guy was flat out horrible in pre-season.

He reminds me of that bum paul justin we picked up a few years back.

All four words I posted and both punctuation points were pure sarcasm. I'd rather get a case of the hiccups.

Would we feel better if he torched our defense? Then we might have different concerns. We're talking about a clip board holder. If any team gets down to there #3 then they are finished anyway . . . unless it's Tony Romo.
