At least this guy actually played a little bit. I would think at least one of these guys could play a few plays for Rat. Some of these huge guys like Seawright and Siavii might be better as a 34 NT than they were in the 43.

wade does like smaller quicker NTs, but jerry jones said that the cowboys need a big body in there. I think you saw the reason for a big body in the pittsburgh game, raven game and ultimately the eagle game.

Agreed. They must not plan on playing the big NT a lot and think they can get a journeyman for the position. Definitely not Parcellsish but I do trust Wade on defense.

You have a point but I do think Ratliff would have played his way into significant snaps somewhere.

I seriously doubt Wade doesn't like the idea of having a Ratliff AND a big NT on the team. That was supposedly Tank's job last year.

If you look at all of Wade's NTs, whether big mauler or quick penetrator, their sack numbers go up when Wade came on board. The foundation of Wade's 3-4 is the one gap (this is not to say the NTs NEVER 2 gap for all the anal retentives). Wade always finds a way to attack, no matter the personnel.

I liked this guy coming out of college as a developmental guy. He is big and can move a little bit. If he doesn't work out as a DL I would like to see them try him on the OL. The planet theory strongly at work here.
