Cowboys-Bears Flashback: Henson for a half

Sorry for skipping this wildly popular feature yesterday. I'll make it up to you by including two links in this post.

Let's go all the way back to Thanksgiving Day 2004, when Cowboys QB of the Future Drew Henson made his first (and only) start in a 21-7 win.

Henson lasted a half until Bill Parcells pulled him in favor of gimpy geezer Vinny Testaverde. Jerry and superstar columnist Tim Cowlishaw weren't happy about this decision, but the Tuna wasn't worried about what anybody else thought.

"I know everybody has been clamoring for him and fans are booing, but I don't care," Parcells said. "I have other people's interest to consider and I really don't care, so I'm going to do what I think is best."

Let me point out that Henson is still undefeated as an NFL starter.

I remember Julius Jones having a great game that day.

Hopefully he does it again this week.

Bears cowboys at soldier field rings up maybe my favorite cowboys moment of all time.....

Bill Bates intercepting Jim Harbaugh to beat the bears in the 91 wild card game with a slight flurry going....My all time favorite cowboys game.

I think I will put that vid up quick.
