Fan voting only counts for a third of the final Pro Bowl totals -- with players and team officials (i.e. coaches, scouts, front office) also getting thirds of the tally -- but if what the masses are saying means much, there are going to be lots of stars on helmets in Hawaii.
As was mentioned in today's briefs in the paper, the Cowboys lead balloting in nine of the 19 NFC positions. That's an NFL high. The Patriots lead voting at eight AFC positions, Colts are on top in four AFC spots, while the Chargers and Bears have three leaders each in their respective conference races.
It also seems like Cowboys fans are the technologically advanced types, with four of the top eight vote-getters in Sprint Wireless voting, done through text messaging, calling Texas Stadium home. If you want to vote that way, and you have a Sprint phone, text message "PRO" to the number "7777." If you want to do it the old-fashioned way, through the internet, bang it here (That's where Tim will be voting for Colombo.) And if you want to read up before you vote, check out Todd's online column, where he handicaps the Cowboys candidates.
Follow the jump to get the current totals, which include, sadly, the late Sean Taylor:
