The Cowboys are desperate in the secondary. Injuries have forced the team to get creative with the lineup and play just about anyone.

Adam Jones is probably out for the rest of the season with a bulging disk in his neck. Keith Davis sprained his knee last week and Ken Hamlin suffered an ankle injury. Both Davis and Hamlin are expected to play against the Giants. Mike Jenkins is also supposed to return this week from a hamstring injury.

Last week, the Cowboys moved cornerback Anthony Henry to safety so Jones could play corner in pass situations. That plan may continue with Jenkins back. The Cowboys would cringe if they had to play Courtney Brown and Tra Battle at safety in the base defense for any extended length of time.

Orlando Scandrick continues to shine as a slot corner. Terence Newman allowed a deep pass to Santonio Holmes last week, but his confidence hasn't waned. Those two must lead the patchwork unit against Eli Manning.

If we lose, it will be because of our situation at safety, not the drama. Of coarse everyone will blame it on the drama and it will probably grow.

And the Holland injury is still the biggest one...

Speaking of...what is the latest with him? I almost forgot that TO, Witten, and Romo weren't the only guys on this team.

No, if we lose, it will be because of Proctor.

I watched him last week and he didn't play that bad or more specifically you couldn't lay the loss on him... But , yes i would much rather have Holland in there.

I thought he held his own after coming in for Holland during the Steelers game. He wasn't perfect but he did well.

NO WAY no how did Proctor do well at all. Yeah, Romo had some time on passes, but the run blocking was nonexistent....
