Wade Phillips said fullback Deon Anderson should be able to play Sunday vs. San Diego after making it through a full practice Thursday but tight end Martellus Bennett is iffy.

Bennett missed his second straight day of practice. Phillips said Bennett has passed the neurological tests but "is still not feeling good and that's the main concern." Phillips, however, was like some of you when it came to Bennett passing one of those tests.

"It's the old joke that they X-rayed his head and didn't find anything," Phillips said.

Safety Ken Hamlin did not practice again and will miss his fourth straight game with a high right ankle sprain. It looked like Hamlin has stepped up his rehab work this week but he's not healthy enough yet to play.

Time for John Phillips to step up and that offer from the Bengals to be revisited. Sorry folks, I'll never get over that one.

Don't risk Bennett. It's not worth it.

It would only be a risk if he was a contributor. He has been a non-factor this year.
